May 24th is pretty much off the table at this point. In fact, she’s even revising her early guess of the middle of May. As of today, the baby is 6 lbs 10oz, and my doctor is thinking about two weeks away from arrival. I’m 1-2 cm dilated and 50% effaced, and she could feel the baby’s head. The baby was so low that my belly actually measured slightly smaller than last week, even though the baby was quite a bit bigger.
Before I left today, I got my labor and delivery instructions and they did my Group B Strep test, both things that we weren’t supposed to talk about until next week. She’s currently thinking that we are looking at the first full week in May (5th-10th).
I guess I need to pack my hospital bag
