Don't Pat the Belly Rotating Header Image

Text Tree

One of the things that we discovered on our hospital tour was that while Bromenn does allow cell phones on labor and delivery (many parts of the hospital don’t), the set up is really not conducive to making phone calls.

If you’re not a grandparent of the baby or you’re a grandparent who wants to find out a little faster, here’s the plan…

We’ve set up text message lists on both of our phones, so that Rakicy can send out a text when the baby comes without having to leave labor and delivery (if he leaves to make a phone call, he may not be able to get back in until after they move me to postpartum). I’m pretty sure that most of the people who read this blog are either already on the list or follow my status updates elsewhere, but if you want me to add you to the text list, email your cell number to dontpatthebelly[at]gmail[dot]com.*

Since we won’t have internet access at the hospital, we won’t be able to send out an email or update the blog for a couple of days. Otherwise, we would just post the news here.**

*I spelled this out to keep away the spammers, but you know what it should look like ;)
**This does not mean that if the blog is idle for a few days that we are at the hospital. It probably just means that we are too tired or too busy to post.
