Happy
Thanksgiving Turkey Trot Day! We currently sitting in a dark hotel room in Chesterfield, MO waiting on Al Capone to wake up and quit hogging the bed. (For the record that in a king size bed that he is taking up most of in the picture). Then we’re off to Thanksgiving in central Missouri after Rakicy finishes his Turkey Trot. Al Capone’s not quite ready for a Thanksgiving meal, but he’ll hang out at the table with a teething biscuit.
We’ve been busy lately trying to get stuff ready to go for the holidays, so I haven’t had much time to write many blog posts, but I’ll try to catch back up when we get back. In the meantime, we have a lot to be thankful for this Turkey Trot day. A lot has changed in the 4 years we’ve lived in Illinois. Rakicy now has a good job with a stable and family-friendly company. We have a group of amazing friends. But most of all, we have a happy, healthy, wonderful baby who is joining us for Thanksgiving this year.
Happy Thanksgiving!
