Bye, Bye Bottles, Hello Sippy Cups!

Today I’m sterilizing and packing away all of Capone’s bottles and in the next couple of weeks, I’ll do the same with my breastpump.  He’s been down to one bottle at daycare for the last two weeks or so and last Friday, he went exclusively to sippy cups.

I loved our Breastflow Bottles.  They were the only ones kept him from getting lazy when nursing, but it was time for them to go.  The parts and bottle brushes and pumping supplies that have taken up permanent residence on our counter for the last 9 months or so are moving on.

He’s still breastfeeding 2-3 times a day and I will continue to nurse him until he decides to stop, but the bottles are GONE and I can’t say that I’m sorry to see them go.

Retiring the bottles is definitely a relief! No more packing, prepping, labeling, and washing. Same feeling about the pump parts. Can totally relate; went 13 months with my son and my daughter is now 10 months…
